Introducing: Delilah

I have to admit that when I first heard British newcomer and recent Atlantic Records signee Delilah's debut single "Go", I was left on the fence. I was taken aback by her powerful, yet demure vocals on the cinematic track but for some reason it just did not do it for me. I quickly claimed her to be a one-hit wonder. After a few more listens over a couple of days, I grew to fall in love with the unique and dark electro-pop track.

Delilah turns it up a notch with her second single "Love You So" which is set for release in the UK on December 18th. With elongated strings and layered vocals that build throughout the song, "Love You So" boasts a much more pop sound than its predecessor. The stomping bass and eclectic percussion help to create very atmospheric feel that abruptly ends with a rousing crescendo.

Drenched with dark undertones and an unsurpassed vocal smoothness, Delilah beautifully sets herself apart from other mainstream female pop vocalists. Definitely one of the best new artists of 2011!
